Suriya's trip to italy !

A major portion of Matraan has been shot, reports sources in Kollywood. The film’s next schedule is due to begin in Italy and team will travel down to that country sometime in January.

Some breathtaking stunt sequences choreographed by Peter Hein are expected to be filmed there. Suriya and Kajal Agarwal, the lead pair, along with director KV Anand and others will fly down to Italy and complete this schedule.

Later, the climax will be filmed but the location for this has not been revealed yet.

Matraan ; Almost Completed !!

Maatraan's shoot is progressing at a rapid speed as AGS is planning to bring out the film for a grand summer release. The songs will be started picturizing from next week in India and foreign countries. Rather than this, some major fight sequences, climax and some talkie portions are yet to be shooted. The talkie portions mentioned in this post will be one of the highlights the movie and it will ...be a big suprise to all fans waiting for the movie especially Surya fans. It's a top secret and will be the most interesting portions in the film. The crew is doing up some big homeworks to shoot out that scenes with technical perfection.

A NEW GENRE IN KOLLYWOOD...thats what Venkat Prabhu promises to give Tamil audiences in his upcoming Suriya-starrer.In a latest interview to TOI Venkat confirms it.

Venkat Prabhu,whose been basking in the success of Mankatha,is currently a busy man.He has been penning the script for his new film,which will star Suriya and Ravi Teja.The director says that he is current...ly half way through writing his script.
The director,states,The film is very much a story set in the present day and very urban.It is laden with a lot of fun.While I cannot reveal too much right now,I can say that this film will introduce a new genre in Tamil cinema though it might be an outdated one for Hollywood.
Talking about the films casting,Venkat confirms,Yes,Suriya has agreed to do this film.But,I will be narrating the final script to him only after I am done with it.I had a few scripts and now,Ive narrowed down on one and completed its first half.
Venkat adds,The other actor who has been finalized is Ravi Teja though hes also yet to listen to the final script.Since Premgi (Amaren,Venkats brother) is not doing many films,he will be part of it too.

As for the heroine,he says,The rest of the logistics and casting will be finalised only once we are through with the scripting.But I can confirm that Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music and that the technical team will mostly consist of people who have helped me till now.

it must be noted after Poovellam Kettupar,Nandha,Mounam Pesiyathe,Perazhagan,Vel Yuvan~Surya teaming up for this flick.The film is going to be produced by Studio green.See more

Actor Suriya and director A R Murugadoss should be smiling all the way. Their 7 Aum Arivu released for Deepavali has made it big and it has successfully completed 50 days run in theatres.

The movie spoke about Bodhi Dharman, a Pallava prince who went from kanchipuram to China and propagated martial arts. Sruthi Haasan played the female lead.

Music by Harris Jeyaraj was a big hit. Both Murugadoss ans Suriya are happy at the success. Murugadoss is geared up to direct Vijay next while Suriya is shooting for Maatran for K V Anand...

It's song time !

Maatraan team packs from Chennai on 17th ending up with thrilling stunt sequence shoot. The next shoots will be of a song and it starts from 20th of this month. We are not revealing the location as the crew wants it to be a suspense. The unit will be in the protection of private security forces as they don't want even a glimpse of the shoot to be leaked outside !
